Grab The Gun Or The Video Camera?
It is one thing to be on the hunt for ghosts when you are called into the home of someone else but it is something completely different when it is your own home that has the paranormal activity. When you hear someone talking in the basement - how are to be sure that it is a ghost rather then an intruder? Do you grab the video camera and head down or the gun? Last night, my brother chose the gun.
There was the sound of a woman talking in the basement although the exact words were not clear and then the dog started going off the deep end. Rather then grabbing the camera to catch any paranormal activity, he did the smart thing and grabbed the gun. Luckily there was not an intruder in the house. Although it can be disappointing to think that he may have missed the chance to capture something paranormal in nature - it is much better to be safe then sorry as we should most often be more scared of what the living can do to us then the dead.
